A vital part of our commitment to you, our students, is the quality of our course offerings. Your feedback on courses is very important. That is why we are conducting a campus-wide survey to gather information on your course experiences. Your comments and concerns help the College to improve courses and the general learning environment.
The survey is scheduled to be delivered between March 1 and March 30 to a sample of classes across our two campuses. We hope to survey about 5,500 students or about one-quarter of our courses during these times:
- March 1 to March 9: Interurban Course Survey Timetable
- March 12 to 30: Lansdowne Course Survey Timetable
If your class is chosen to do a survey, an assistant will deliver laptop computers to your classroom and give a short orientation on the procedure. Each of you will use a laptop to complete the survey for that particular course/section. It should take no more than 15 to 20 minutes from each class.
Your response is completely anonymous, and you will not be asked for your name or Student ID at any time. Your views will be tabulated with all other responses and made available to instructors and the Dean to improve your courses. General results will be published on the Camosun website as well.
Please watch for specific announcements in your classes, via emails and on the this website for further information and a survey schedule, and read the FAQ.
Thank you in advance for your participation.
