Education Council Election Reminder

EDUCATION COUNCIL

A seat on Education Council is an opportunity to be involved in ensuring students are provided with quality, relevant educational experiences through establishing academic policy and approving curriculum.

STUDENTS: There are four (4) vacant seats for student representation. The term of office is August 1, 2021 to July 31, 2022.
FACULTY: There are seven (7) vacant seats available for faculty representation. The term of office is August 1, 2021 to July 31, 2023.
SUPPORT STAFF: There are two (2) vacant seats available for staff representation. The term of office is August 1, 2021 to July 31, 2023.

BOARD OF GOVERNORS

Being on the Board of Governors is a way to have a voice in the affairs of the institution and establishing the policies that guide the activity of the College. The board focuses on policy and strategic leadership.

STUDENTS: There are two (2) seats available for student representation. The term of office is August 1, 2021 to July 31, 2022.
FACULTY: There are no vacant seats for faculty representation.
SUPPORT STAFF: There are no vacant seats for support staff representation.

Nomination forms are available during the nomination period at camosun.ca/elections
Submissions must be received at elections@camosun.ca by March 25 at noon
