Eight Camosun faculty and leaders received major awards this year in recognition of their superb teaching skills, life-long achievements, personal initiative and boundless dedication to Camosun and its students. "Student learning is at the centre of everything we do," says VP Academic John Boraas. "So, acknowledgment of the quality of the college's faculty and staff helps to elevate and celebrate that important core value.

"Graduation is around the corner, and it's a good time to recognize some of our great teachers who help students become great graduates," adds Boraas. "Students succeed in their studies in large part because of the work that we do at Camosun to support faculty in the professional development of their teaching skills, and to provide relevant teaching and learning resources so students can excel in their studies and their careers."
