Nearly all of Camosun's 196 first year nursing students attended the unofficial launch of their studies last Thursday at a welcome event organized by student volunteers from second and third year. In a glorious day that felt like the calm before the academic storm, students had the chance to meet new friends, eat some burgers and beat the rush to attend to final details.
