October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month. Camosun College invites members of the media to attend class this Friday to see one way students demonstrate their support.
You are invited
When: anytime between 11:30am to 1pm, Friday October 1
What: "Introduction to Management" class for first-year business students. Students are encouraged to wear pink all week-long, and especially to the October 1 class. We anticipate the majority of students at this 100+ class will be wearing pink.
Where: Liz Ashton Campus Centre Building, Lecture theatre 124, Camosun College Interurban Campus, 4461 Interurban Road
Why: Larry Chung is the program leader of the first-year Business Administration Program, and is teaching Friday's class. "We wanted to support Run for the Cure and Breast Cancer Awareness month, plus give students a low-cost, effective way to demonstrate social awareness and responsibility," says Chung.
