Student focus groups and an editorial advisory board of accounting faculty from across Canada resulted in real-world examples and financial analysis plus interpretation sections in the textbook that connect students with the real practice in the Canadian business world.
“It’s wonderful, but no surprise, to have a Camosun instructor so highly regarded for her expertise and ability to convey how accounting principles are used in the Canadian marketplace,” says Joan Yates, Dean of the School of Business.“Tana’s dedication to this project and her students underscores Camosun’s commitment to connecting the classroom to careers.”
