Great news for people living in one of the West Shore communities: you don’t have to drive into town for your Camosun English class!
Starting February 10, English 150-English Composition will be offered at the WestShore Centre for Learning and Training Annex, 2139 Sooke Road. Classes will run Tuesdays and Thursday evenings, 6:30-8:20pm from February 10–April 23, 2009.
This popular English class is a required course within many of Camosun’s diploma programs, such as Business Admin, Criminal Justice, Environmental Technology, Nursing and Sport Management, just to name a few. It also provides transfer credit into every university and college in BC, and across Canada. English 150 is a prerequisite for many post secondary courses, so it opens academic doors in all areas of humanities, social sciences and Associate Degree programs.
If you apply now, you can be finished this course in time to register for another class in Camosun’s spring term or full time studies in the fall.
It’s also possible to audit this course. That means attending classes, but not having to do the assignments or write any exams. So if you just want to learn for learning’s sake but don’t care about getting a grade at the end of it all, this might be a good option for you. Costs less too. Learn more about auditing...
