Efficient Market Theory Debate: Kumar VS Goodfellow
November 26 at Camosun College
Two well-known professors of local schools will be debating market efficiency theories at Camosun College on Wednesday, November 26, at 5:30 pm.
Mahesh Kumar, from Camosun College, is a Certified Management Accountant, Management Consultant and Taxation Practitioner, Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance, author of “Wine Investment for Portfolio Diversification – How Collecting Fine Wines Can Yield Greater Returns Than Stocks and Bonds.” Kumar has previous experience with PricewaterhouseCoopers, GlaxoSmithKline, Novartis Pharmaceuticals, and Imperial College London.
Edward Goodfellow, from Royal Roads University, is a Chartered Accountant, Canadian Securities, Fellowship of the Canadian Securities Industry, Certified Financial Planner, and a Certified Financial Analyst. He draws experience from KPMG, RBC, Phillips Hager North, and CIBC Wood Gundy. Goodfellow also taught at Camosun College.
Admission is by Donation (suggested $5 or non-perishable food item, Students $2 with Student ID).
