Camosun's 2008 High School Business Simulation Competition
March 5, 2008
Ten teams comprised of 41 students from 5 different high schools competed in the 2008 High School Business Simulation Competition at Camosun. Student teams were mentored for the first three quarters by a Camosun business student. This allowed the high schoolers to ask any questions and build a rapport with the Camosun business students.
The winner was a team from Belmont. Second went to a Mt Doug team. Biggest turnaround was achieved by the Vic High team that had a $450,000 loss at the end of the 3rd quarter and made $8.5 million after the 6th quarter.
