Do you have what it takes?
Camosun College Interurban Campus, February 29, 2008
The competition provides an opportunity for teams of high school students to test their business abilities by running a mock corporation for a day, in a computer-based simulation. Each team of four will be mentored by a Camosun business student.
The competition is free, and lunch, dinner, and snacks will be provided.
Who can participate?
All high school students in the south Vancouver Island area are invited to participate.
What are the prizes?
Each member of the winning team will receive a $500 tuition voucher for Camosun College, and tickets for the Camosun College Speakers Series.
Prizes will also be awarded to the second and third p lace teams, best turn-around team, and most professional team. All teams will receive a certificate of recognition, and invitation to the awards dinner.
How do I enter?
To enter a team, please send us an email by February 15, indicating:
- the name of your school
- the names of the four team members
- the name of your “corporation”
- the name, phone number, and email address of your business teacher
What if we don’t have a team of four?
If you don’t have four students on your team, but would still like to participate, please contact us. We may be able to combine individuals and smaller groups to form teams.
