Third year Chargers veteran and two-time BCCAA Bronze Medallist, Brad Clapp, earned his first Gold Medal for the league's lowest gross individual score at the final BCCAA tournament hosted by Camosun at Olympic View Golf Club. Clapp's four tournament total of 600 over 144 holes was 2 strokes better than second place finisher Kyle Hewitt (602) from Malaspina. Phil Kondrak of Camosun and Mitch Lock of UCFV tied for third with scores of 605.
Going into the final tournament, Clapp had a comfortable 9 stroke lead but saw it slowly evaporate after the first day. "I didn't think I had it as Kyle was playing well and had a good first round score" stated Clapp. Coach Dunning praised his veteran player stating "Brad played the most consistent of all the players in the league. His leadership over the entire season was instrumental in helping the Chargers team collect their back to back BCCAA Championship in the Team Competition."
