9 am–7 pm, Thursday April 26 at Interurban campus
Don’t miss this opportunity to visit our Interurban campus, tour the facilities and have a lot of fun as you learn about Camosun programs and the many career opportunities open to graduates.
Just for showing up you can enter a draw to win $500 toward Camosun tuition.
9 am–4:30 pm—Scavenger hunt
Participate in more than 100 hands-on activities for a chance to win great prizes like an iPod or a digital camera. This event is fun for all ages, but especially for students in Grades 9-11 who may still be exploring their career and educational options. Full details
4–5 pm—Spaghetti bridge competition
Hosted by the Civil Engineering Technology program, Camosun’s 14th annual Spaghetti Bridge competition showcases the design talents of competitors as they attempt to build the strongest bridge possible out of spaghetti noodles! You can view the bridges throughout the afternoon, but the fun really starts at 4pm when each bridge will be loaded with more and more weight until it collapses. There will be four categories of competitors: Grades 6-9, Grades 10-12, Engineering Technology Students, and “other”.
5–7pm—Education fair
Faculty and staff will be looking forward to meeting you for one-one-one conversations about your education and career interests. Bring all your questions! Enter to win $500 toward Camosun tuition, or a $100 Camosun gift card.
Getting here
If you’re coming by transit, the 8, 21 and 39 buses will drop you off right at the campus.
If you’re coming by car, parking is free all day!

Open house tuition draw
Stop by the open house welcome centre between 9 am and 7 pm to enter your name into the draw for $500 toward Camosun tuition.
Two $500 prizes will be awarded and may be used to pay for tuition fees for any Camosun College program or course (no cash equivalent). Each prize is valid until September 30, 2012 and is fully transferable.
One entry per person. Employees of Camosun College are not eligible for this contest.
Winners will be selected by random draw on April 27 and notified by phone.
Driving directions
Interurban Campus
4461 Interurban Road, Victoria
Via Island Highway #1 (from Duncan, Nanaimo, etc.)
Heading south on Island Highway, take Helmcken Road exit. Once on the exit ramp, get into left lane to take you back across the highway (east). Stay on this road, past the Victoria General Hospital and very soon Helmcken will turn into Wilkinson Rd. (you probably won’t even notice). When you reach a main intersection with traffic light (Wilkinson & Interurban) turn left onto Interurban Rd.
Via Pat Bay Highway #17 (from Sidney, ferry terminal, airport)
Heading south on Pat Bay Highway, turn right onto Royal Oak exit. Follow the signs to Vancouver Island Tech Park: Right onto West Saanich Road, left onto Markham, and when you reach the Tech Park, continue to the right and follow the little road to the back of Interurban Campus.
From downtown
Heading North on Douglas Street, turn left onto Burnside Road. Soon after you pass Tillicum Mall, Burnside turns sharply to the Left…don’t go there. Stay in the right-hand lane and the road will magically turn into Interurban Road and lead you directly to the campus.
