Camosun Places 3rd in International Case Competition

Camosun had an impressive third place win in this year's Royal Roads International Undergraduate Case Competition. The competition included teams 
from well-known schools across Canada and the US such as UBC, Queens University, University of Guelph, Brigham Young University, Simon Fraser University, Thompson Rivers University, and Royal Roads University.
The Camosun Case Competition team included Maria Rebudan, Kyla Fiddich, Katie Trydal, and Tom Prins (pictured).
The Case Competition highlights students' analytical and presentation skills while allowing potential employers to watch them in a high-pressure situation. Each team prepares and presents three business cases throughout the day. These business cases are taken from a local company. Each team presents strategic choices and a detailed action plan. They're judged on their creativity, insight and "real world" suitablility. For team members this is not only a competition but also opportunity for recruitment from the sponsors and employers.
"They raised Camosun's performance in the competition to a new level," says Catherine Mack, one of the coaches alongside Josje Andmore. "In past years, the highest final placement for a Camosun team has been fourth."
Congratulations to Maria, Kyla, Katie and Tom, and a huge Thank you! to Catherine Mack and Josje Andmore for all the work preparing our team for the competition, and being there to coach, support and cheer them on.
