Camosun College is open and classes are in session today and this evening.
Snow has been cleared from campus roads, parking lots and pathways.
Camosun asks students and employees to please use caution when traveling to and from the College and around campus. Faculty, staff, students and visitors are encouraged to use public transit to come to campus, if possible.
Students are advised to exercise discretion when making decisions involving their personal safety. Students are asked to contact their instructors if they are unable to travel and therefore miss deadlines for assignments or exams.
In times of inclement weather, students are advised to listen to local radio stations or visit www.camosun.ca for early announcements of closures, should they be necessary. The College makes its decisions based on weather reports, road conditions and availability of transit services.
