To raise funds for student bursaries

The Camosun College Foundation and presenting sponsor Susan Knowler, VP of RBC Dominion Securities invites you to the 13th annual Camosun College fundraiser dinner, Thinking Caps, Friday, March 16, 5:30pm at the Marriott Hotel, Inner Harbour, Victoria.

The gala event is open to the public and features a champagne reception, a spectacular three-course appetizer dinner prepared and served by Camosun’s Culinary Arts students working alongside the Marriott Hotel’s executive chefs. Guests will also be treated to fine wine sampling provided by Camosun’s Hotel/Restaurant Administration students, entertainment, and exciting live and silent auctions.

Auction items include seven local and international vacation packages, two Robert Bateman lithographs, a hand-crafted cabinet made by Camosun Fine Furniture students, original artwork by J. Redbird, Brian Marion and others, and much more!

Tickets are limited: $150 per person; corporate tables of 10 are $1,250. To purchase tickets email: foundation@camosun.bc.ca, phone: 250–370–4233 or go to our website for more information.

Funds raised will create bursaries for students in financial need. One in eight Camosun students benefits from the generous awards and bursaries created by donations from individuals, associations, corporations and foundations.

This year’s dinner celebrates Camosun College’s 36-year reputation for educational excellence in our community. Since 1981, the Camosun College Foundation has raised over $10 million in assets and now provides one of the largest bursary programs among western Canadian colleges.

The Foundation thanks its many sponsors including Susan Knowler, VP, RBC Dominion Securities, JACK FM, The Ocean, the Times Colonist, CH TV and the Marriott Hotel.
