The BC Government is committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions to 80% below 2007 levels by 2050.
Legislated under the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Targets Act (GGRTA) and the Carbon Neutral Government Regulation, all public sector organizations (including Camosun) must achieve carbon neutrality. Efforts to reduce energy use and carbon footprints are reported annually in Carbon Neutral Action Reports.
