Criminal Record Check

The Criminal Records Review Act requires that students registered in a post-secondary program, where they may be working with children and/or vulnerable adults, must have a Criminal Record Check (CRC) conducted by the British Columbia Ministry of Public Safety & Solicitor General (MPSSG), Criminal Records Review Program (CRRP).

Camosun only accepts Criminal Record Checks from the BC Ministry of Public Safety & Solicitor General, Criminal Records Review Program.

How to get a Criminal Record Check

  1. After accepting a seat in a program requiring a CRC, you will be sent an email with instructions on how to complete the online consent form. Emails are sent each Friday afternoon.
  2. Follow the instructions in the email, fill out the online form and pay the $28 application fee.
  3. Camosun will email you once your clearance has been completed.
