Camosun Trademark Co-Chairs receive Victoria Chamber’s prestigious lifetime achievement award

Long-time friends of Camosun College Lynda and Murray Farmer were honoured by the local community as the Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce presented the couple with its prestigious lifetime achievement award, April 21.
Lynda and Murray Farmer are respected community leaders and generous philanthropists whose collective efforts have benefited Camosun College and numerous other local organizations and charitable causes over the years.
The Farmers have been supporters of the college for over 20 years. Lynda is a former chair of Camosun’s Board of Governors, and her and Murray’s leadership and commitment as co-chairs of the college’s current TRADEmark of Excellence fundraising campaign is a reflection of their respect for and interest in the role qualified trades graduates play in the building of vibrant communities.
Lynda and Murray are both passionate believers in post-secondary education and Camosun College is grateful for their ongoing support our students and programs.
