School of Access

Want financial help for your education?

The School of Access, in partnership with the Camosun College Foundation, offers a series of awards to outstanding students. Camosun also offers a wide selection of bursaries for full-time students.

Who's eligible

To be eligible for an Access award, you must have been enrolled in an Access program or course for at least one semester during May 1–April 30. Check award descriptions for criteria and application details. Indigenous students may be eligible for Indigenous Education & Community Connections awards in addition to School of Access awards.

You are welcome to apply for more than one award, but please complete a separate online application for each one. Be sure to review the award criteria carefully and include all the necessary essays or references.

Award values vary from year to year but can typically be anywhere between $150–$1,000 each.

Prepare to Apply

Not sure how to apply for an award? Read through our guide to learn how to put together a great application package. See Indigenous Education Awards for criteria and application details of other awards specific to Indigenous students.

Awards Criteria and Forms

There are two ways of obtaining an award:

  • awards for which you apply, or
  • awards for which you are nominated by your instructor or instructional assistant.

You can contact us at our Interurban Office CBA 133 or Lansdowne Office  Ewing 234 | 250-370-4926 | Contact Financial Aid for information about college bursaries.
